SEO Tips: The Five Sins of Link Building

SEO is an art that small businesses increasingly have to figure out themselves. Quickly, a newbie figures out that the name of the game in SEO is linkbuilding. But are you doing it right? Or more importantly, are you doing it wrong? Make sure you are not wasting your time, and not committing the five big linkbuilding sins, as outlined below.

  1.  Purchasing Backlinks through Online Companies- First ask yourself these questions "How do I know what quality these sites are?","Are they actually posting to these directories?, After all, how would you know? and lastly " What will I do when, not if, Google finds out and Sandboxes me?" This is too risky of a venture for a $9.99 investment. I can't stress avoiding these quick fixes more, it would be a huge mistake to fall for this trap! We at Florida SEO Design's believe in human submissions, spread out over a long duration to avoid such penalties.
  2. Relying on one SEO method over another method- I believe that Search Engine Optimization is much like a stock portfolio. Would you place all your money in one stock? Absolutely not. It is imperative to invest in many SEO outlets, placing all your time and effort in one avenue is counter-productive. Google places websites based on a formula and there are guidelines that prevent such skewing of thier algorithm.
  3. Using crappy Backlinks- This SEO sin is much like the first one however even manually submitted weak backlinks are pretty much useless. One powerful backlink can be as powerful as 100 weak and useless backlinks. Sometimes having weak backlinks can even hurt your SEO standing. Be careful when inter-connecting your site!
  4. Using Flash Intros- Flash should only be in the form of embedded content and used sparingly. Flash Intros can cause problems for bots trying to crawl your website.
  5. Dont redirect unless you have to- Only redirect a visitor when the content has been moved. Search Engines know when you purposely redirect a visitor to an alternate site for website views.

The biggest Quick tips for succeeding in Search Engine optimization are:

    * Build quality backlinks
    * Have new and original content
    * Use the power of Social Media Sites
    * Only link with websites that are reputable
    * Make Keywords naturally occurring
    * DMOZ is King

Review sites are powerful, Do not try to fool them!

Easy Way To Choose Laptop

In this modern age there are millions of laptop that you can choose from. Each with its unique capabilities and design. With every laptop companies offering their laptop to you, certainly you would be confused to choose. Well, there is an easy way to choose one.

First of all, you need to know why you need laptop for. Certainly you choose laptop because it is portable. If you don't need it to be carried around then I suggest you buy a desktop instead because you can get better performance for lower price replacing the computer portability.

You need to know what kind of software and program are you going to use the laptop for. Are you going to use it for high performance task? Games, photo editing, and video editing require high random-access memory (RAM) and hard disk drive (HDD).

For high performance task you will need: 3GB or bigger RAM, hard disk size 320GB and hard disk speed 7,200rpm or bigger, 17 inch or bigger display, graphic card with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5670 or newer, Intel Core i3 with 3 GHz or higher.

But, if you don't need to do high performance task you can get the minimum laptop performance. Student and home user that use their laptop for writing assignment or browsing internet could go for the minimum laptop performance.

For minimum laptop performance all you need is: 1GB RAM, hard disk size 160GB and hard disk speed 7,200rpm, 13 inch display, graphic card Intel GMA HD/shared, Intel core i3 with 1,2 GHz.
